Keep it clean!

Updated: Apr 11

One question I get asked a lot is... "what do I use to clean my piece and keep it shining?!". Well, here is what I use when my pieces need a clean.

If you are cleaning your piece in the sink, it's best to put down a folded hand towel and grip your piece firmly. Glass is slippery when wet, obviously. Place your piece on the towel and sprinkle some water over it. Then add a light dusting of baking soda, add a drop of two of Dawn Dish Soap to your soft bristle brush then gently scrub your piece. Keep your piece on the towel when possible so that there is zero chance you will drop it. Rinse well with water then dry thoroughly.

That's it! Now she's clean so she needs to be protected and shined. Check out the step-by-step guide in my blogs.

It's important to remember... this process is only necessary if your piece is truly dirty or maybe has been outside for a while. You can probably get away with a light dusting once a month using regular Pledge and a soft cloth.
